Very nice to have access to Autodesk AREA on Android and iOS.

Roland Introduces iModela iM-01

Roland just introduced a small 3 axis mill for craft and hobby markets. They call it 3D milling, ok, it's legit but just a fancy new word for a 3 axis mill. I have seen other articles calling this mill a 3D printer...



I really like the concept of having a small desktop mill to rapid prototype small objects or to have kids playing and learning with the mill. The pricing is set to around $1000, i don't know any similar mill in this price range.

3D-projection on a car surface

You may know already that 3D-projections on buildings are fun. Compared to what Glue Isobar and Igloo did for Toyota, producing building projections is a piece of cake.

Using cutting edge 3D-projection technique they projected animations on a real car using 7 projectors, a very detailed  3D-car model, a lot of tea and brainwork. Kudos!
